About 22 years ago (!!!) I wrote a song in honor of our first-born son and the first-born daugher of dear friends of ours. Par for the course with me, it was blues, and not serious in any way, just the way I like ’em ;)

For the music geeks who might care, I did all the guitar sounds on the Variax. Sounds very acoustic, with Martin, Guild, and Dobro models in use. Almost no effects on this one except for a little slap-back reverb on the underlying rhythm tracks. And all plugged right into the mixer, so you can hear the Variax tones very clearly.
